First Nations Housing
Location: Tachie, Tl’azt’en Nation
Description: This house was built as housing for Tl’azt’en Nation. The house is just shy of 1200 sq. ft. and features 3 bedrooms and a single washroom. It has a faux fir timber framing on the front deck and Hardie plank siding. The kitchen/living area has a vaulted ceiling of 12’ and a ceiling fan mounted above for heat redistribution. The kitchen is made of durable Thermo-foil and the flooring is Luxury vinyl plank. A Blaze King Princess stove is installed in the living area for secondary heat.
The house has an electric water heater, electric viable speed furnace and a 4’ crawl space with a cement floor for additional storage.
