Location: The View Hotel, Fort St James

Description:  In 2015 Dado Construction Ltd was the general contractor that took the third floor of the View Hotel from an unfinished space to a fully finished hotel floor. The area comprised of 28 single bed rooms with a full 3 piece bathroom, and 7 of those rooms were full kitchenettes. The renovation included the common areas, such as 2 stairwells, ice machine area, hallway, and we oversaw the installation of a new elevator.

Furthermore we were contracted to later install the restaurant on the main floor. Working with regulatory bodies we helped design the layout of the kitchen and completed the renovations to the empty space. The area was turned into a full commercial kitchen with a new men’s washroom, and adjacent dining area. One highlight of the project was the installation of the new bar and servers area. Using salvaged barnwood we built a custom bar, counter, gate, chalk board signage and unique barnwood shelves that had built in LED lighting.
